Prospective Graduate Students
We are very interested in working with highly-motivated, creative graduate students with strong quantitative backgrounds. Currently, we are only considering PhD students. If you think that our research group would be a good fit for you, please contact either Jason or Eve prior to applying to the Environmental Studies Program so that we can discuss your interests via an in-person meeting, phone call, or Skype. When you email, please send:
- A brief description of your research interests and why you want to pursue graduate work in the Environmental Studies Program.
- A brief description of any relevant experience or skills (field, lab, modeling).
- Copies or links to any peer-reviewed publications (e.g., manuscripts, conference proceedings, poster PDFs).
If you are interested in conducting an honors thesis with one of our ongoing projects, or would like to work as a research assistant with the group, please email Eve to discuss available opportunities. Note that Eve only will serve as a primary advisor for the honors thesis if (1) you start the process in your junior year, and (2) you work on a topic directly related to what we do in the EBG.
