The Environmental Biogeochemistry Group is led by Dr. Eve-Lyn Hinckley. Broadly our group seeks to understand human changes to nutrient and water cycles. In many of our projects, we inform sustainable solutions to environmental issues ranging from land management to agricultural practices and development. We work on projects in our own backyard - Colorado - as well as California, and many locations internationally. Our methods include stable isotope biogeochemistry, elemental analysis, soil science, and modeling. Click on the images below to learn more.
